The Charities
We have chosen 6 fantastic causes to donate a portion of our profits to. Each collection has a sensical charity tied to it. Shopping "For the Animals" generates donations for the ASPCA. shopping "For Mother Nature" generates donation for the Defenders of Natural Resources Council. Shopping "For Civil Rights" generates donations for the ACLU. Shopping "For Hawaii" generates donations for the Hawai'i Foodbank. Shopping "For Those That Came Before" generates donation for the Alzheimer's Research and Prevention Foundation. And shopping "For Her" generates donation for Planned Parenthood.
We will track sales by collection and make donations at reasonable milestones such as $50 or $100 increments. As donations are made, we will post them to the charities page.
ASPCA
For over 150 years, the ASPCA has worked to put an end to animal abuse and neglect. We are a national leader in animal rescue, protection and placement, but none of it would be possible without regular monthly gifts from ASPCA Guardians. Becoming a Guardian is the easiest, most efficient way to fight cruelty and make a difference for animals all year long.
** We do not work for the ASPCA, we are simply big fans of animals and have chosen this charity to be the benefactor of a portion of our profits.
ACLU
The ACLU dares to create a more perfect union — beyond one person, party, or side. Our mission is to realize this promise of the United States Constitution for all and expand the reach of its guarantees.
** We do not work for the ACLU, we simply believe civil liberties are the backbone of ensuring the pursuit of happiness for all and have chosen them as one of the benefactors of a portion of our profits.
NRDC
NRDC works to safeguard the earth—its people, its plants and animals, and the natural systems on which all life depends.
NRDC (the Natural Resources Defense Council) combines the power of more than 3 million members and online activists with the expertise of some 700 scientists, lawyers, and other environmental specialists to confront the climate crisis, protect the planet's wildlife and wild places, and to ensure the rights of all people to clean air, clean water, and healthy communities.
** We do not work the NRDC, but we do believ that ehis planet is our home and needs a lot of help. That is why we chose this cause to be one of the benefactors of a portion of out profits.
Hawai'i Foodbank
For 40 years, Hawai‘i Foodbank has been synonymous with getting food in the hands of those in need. We believe that consistent access to safe and healthy food is a fundamental human right, and the Foodbank has been working to ensure that no one goes hungry in our communities for four decades now. Looking forward, we are working to broaden our reach by building capacity, strengthening support to our partner networks, pursuing advocacy and outreach opportunities, purchasing more food, and, most importantly, building connections.
** We do not work for the Hawaii Foodbank, but we do live in Hawaii and see the struggle local folks and Kama'aina have with the ridiculously high cost of living and that is why have chosen this cause to be a benefactor of a portion of our profits.
ARPF
What if we could reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s and many people could avoid developing dementia? For those who have it, what if there was a way to slow down its progression, so that they could live a healthier and longer life?
These are the questions that we asked ourselves when we started the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation (ARPF).
* We do not work for the ARPF, but our family has suffered from both Alzheimer's and Dementia, so we are passionate about this cause and have chosen them to be one of the benefactors of a portion of our profits.
The mission of the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation is to prevent Alzheimer’s disease by funding research studies, providing professional training, educational outreach, and memory screenings. For over 30 years, the ARPF has been on the leading edge by researching, advocating, and educating for a holistic or integrative approach to preventing memory loss and Alzheimer’s.
Planned Parenthood
At Planned Parenthood our mission is to ensure all people have access to the care and resources they need to make informed decisions about their bodies, their lives, and their futures. Founded in 1916, Planned Parenthood is a trusted health care provider, educator, and passionate advocate here in the U.S. as well as a strong partner to health and rights organizations around the world. Each year, Planned Parenthood delivers vital sexual and reproductive health care, sex education, and information to millions of people.
** We do not work for Planned Parenthood, but we do believe in a woman's right to choose. This is why we have chosen Planned Parenthood as one of the benefactors of a portion of our profits.
